| OGO Primavera Black Gold was Sold to Donna
DeAmaral of Singing Heart Ranch in Arizona. Donna will be
using Shaman as a stallion and will be crossing him to Fresian mares for the result of
what is called a Moriesian. She chose Shaman for his Morgan type, beautiful head and
compact body to compliment and improve upon the Fresian. The Fresian will add
size. Her goal is to create a horse that has the presence of the Fresian, but one
that is smaller with a smoother ride and with more longivity. Shaman will be put
under saddle and promoted for Morgan mares as well as Fresian mares. |
 Acorn Morgan Horses
- A Morgan Horse breeding program continuing the tradition of OGO's work in breeding the
next generation in the Justin Morgan horse bloodline. Morgan programs that follow in
the paths of J. C. Brunk, Daniel Lambert, Frances Bryant and Eve Oakley-bringing to modern
day the desirable Lambert, Old Vermont and Brunk bloodlines of the past century. A
direct descendant of Eve Oakley's program is one of our foundation broodmares, OGO
Caven-glo BlueMoon, a fifth-generation Jubilee King grand-daughter.

The journey we took together to design my logo of Old
Growth Oak Morgans was one that I will always treasure. You placed on canvas a picture of
the devotion and passion I feel for this breed. You are not only a talented world renown
artist but a fantastic writer and friend. I cant wait to begin our next adventure! |
Laura Algranti
Laura you have been a wealth of knowledge and encouragement
and you have assisted me along with scores of others in so many areas of historic facts,
trivia and knowledge. Your dedication and contribution to preserve the old Morgan
bloodlines has lead you down a road of meeting many wonderful Morgan horses and people who
came along with them. I am glad your road crossed my path. |

Ildy ven De Putte
Ildy struck me as a very special person the very first time I
ever spoke to her over the phone. Her sincerity and good heartedness simply flowed
through the phonelines directly to my heart. She was interested in my beloved
Shadoah, who I had raised from a foal. I had screened dozens of people who all had
the money to purchase Shadoah, but none of them touched me as Ildy did. I knew as
soon as I met her in person and saw how lovingly she interacted with Shadoah that she was
the one I would part with Shadoah for. As much as I have missed my equine friend, I
have never regretted my decision to hand him over into Ildy's care. Ildy keeps in
touch with me often giving me updates and progress reports on what she and Shadoah do
together on a daily basis.
Many Happy Trails for Shadoah and Ildy! |
