Today, Wendy LeGate gives to this breed a promise of continued legacy from the direct bloodlines of Justin, through Jubilee King and down to the current reigning stallion, Canyon of Quietude.  The Morgan horse history, legacy, strength, beauty and endurance are cared for by her un-bridled passion.  Wendy offers Stud Services with a Private Treaty fee and shipped Semen or Live Cover through her breeding program.  She also has for sale Fillies and Colts of the next generation in the Justin Morgan horse bloodline.  Please feel free to contact her with any inquiries at Purchase Morgan Foals

As part of her Morgan breeding program, Wendy breeds mares having the good blood from all the Morgan families - Western Working Family, Old Vermont, Brunk, Government and old Midwest.  She works closely with other Morgan Horse Breeders to bring to foal the best of the old families who were bred for true Morgan type and using ability.

OGO Grand Prix Salute
SOLD

OGO Grand Prix Salute, a huge bay colt, was born to OGO Flower of the Prairie on December 2, 2004.  The sire of this colt is Moody Blues Jazz, a 16.2 hand Morgan Stallion.

This huge bay colt that we only recently announced was born on December 2, 2004, has just been SOLD to North Wind Morgan Farm in Wasilla, Alaska.   Congratulations Mike & Paula Vrana on your newest member to your breeding program!  Mike and Paula plan to acquire, in the next few years, more well-bred and well-mannered Morgan mares to compliment their herd.  They are focusing on big-boned, old style Morgans.  We invite you to visit North Wind Morgan Farm.

OGO Caven-glo BlueMoon
SOLD!

Congratulations to Sharleen Shields Acorn Morgans!  She has bought OGO Caven-glo BlueMoon for future broodstock.  Old Growth Oak Morgans has retained breedings.

This tall, beautiful, correct filly has the wonderful Brunk qualities of willingness and sense. She will be a grand broodmare and plans are already being made for future matings.

How can you go wrong with a foal that strikes the pose right after she is born?  The grace and spirit of the mighty Jubilee King are so evident in this filly that her great, great, great Grandfather must surely be proud.  You can view her impressive pedigree by clicking on the link below.

OGO Flower of Amor

This Colt is SOLD to Libby Flower of Flower Farm as a stallion.

Destined to be a future sire of good sports and pleasure horses, this handsome correct fellow has an excellent mind and willingness.

OGO Higuera
Lucky Seven
SOLD!

This Colt is SOLD to Terry Jensen of TK Land and Cattle Company as a stallion.

This good looking, correct colt brings a grand heritage of working horses in his pedigree. His dam is pure old California Western Working Family with all the horses in the fourth generation being registered in 1947 or earlier (mostly much earlier), thus bringing the old ranching heritage up close for today’s breeders. Lucky Seven’s dam and the ancestors were bred by some of the top breeders of good using horses of those eras. Lucky Seven’s sire also brings in some of the best of the old working Morgans both through the WWF and Brunk portions of his pedigree. A pedigree this rich in the working ranch heritage and this pure is very difficult to find. This colt will carry on the tradition and heritage to which he is bred and will be valuable to anyone wishing to breed using Morgans for any endeavor.  Offered as a Stallion prospect.

OGO Higuera
Rio Grande
SOLD!

This Colt is SOLD to Trudy Haversat & Gary

Here is another of those really good Bandido colts—wonderful sensible temperament and mind coupled with good conformation and good looks. Bandido brings his working heritage and solid pedigree. Rio Grande’s dam also brings in some very good Western Working Family blood along with some other solid old lines. Shatona Karzan is the sire of the dam and he brings in old California ranching blood and some solid working heritage from the L. U. Sheep Co. Ranch also. On the dam side, there is Government, Old Vermont, Brunk, and some more WWF. Rio Grande will be a great friend and working partner, or could be considered as a breeding horse for someone who wants to bring in some good old blood.

OGO Springhills Bravado
SOLD!

This Colt is SOLD to Libby Flower of Flower Farms.

This big tall colt comes from tall parents so should have size. He certainly is solid and correct now. His sire is a noted sports horse in the dressage arena and his dam comes from good old Western Working Family lines, working ranch horses all. His sire has some good WWF lines behind him as well as some old Brunk and old Midwest. In fact, Finlee is an excellent source of that hard to find old Midwest blood. “Springy’s” dam is preservationist pure in the WWF family and is an excellent complement to Finlee. All told, this colt is a sire prospect and surely is a budding sports horse whether left entire or gelded. He should be considered by breeders of sports Morgans for his rich heritage and special pedigree. And he should be considered by all as a wonderful using horse for competition and pleasure. Please email Wendy for purchase information.
