Today, Wendy LeGate gives to this breed a promise of continued legacy from the direct bloodlines of Justin, through Jubilee King and down to the current reigning stallion, Canyon of Quietude.  The Morgan horse history, legacy, strength, beauty and endurance are cared for by her un-bridled passion.  Wendy offers Stud Services with a Private Treaty fee and shipped Semen or Live Cover through her breeding program.  She also has for sale Fillies and Colts of the next generation in the Justin Morgan horse bloodline.  Please feel free to contact her with any inquiries at Stud Services

As part of her Morgan breeding program, Wendy breeds mares having the good blood from all the Morgan families - Western Working Family, Old Vermont, Brunk, Government and old Midwest.  She works closely with other Morgan Horse Breeders to bring to foal the best of the old families who were bred for true Morgan type and using ability.

Castle Monterey

Castle Monterey brings to this century the blood of California’s first ranch Morgans, brought here from Texas in the early 1920’s. Over and over again her pedigree traces back to Sellman’s stock. She is pure Western Working Family and pure Old California. Her pedigree is a Who’s Who of the great early California Morgans and their breeders. Behind her are many Baroque Morgans with working ability and many quality breeding horses.

Circle H Merlita

With a pedigree of pure old Western Working Family, Merlita brings the old ones up to this century very quickly. She has much of the good old Brunk breeding helping to make the Western Working Family as well as some of the best of the Old Midwest lines too. She traces over and over again to those two cornerstones of the WWF, Elmer Brown and Richard Sellman, the latter coming often through Roland Hill’s breeding in this pedigree. She comes from many generations of working ranch breeding, from breeders selecting for soundness of mind and body.

Funquest Swallow

Funquest Swallow is one of the last pure Funquest horses. Her marvelous heritage is of the Kansas plains working Morgans. Behind Funquest Swallow are excellent Brunk bred horses who went to the ranchers of the west. Funquest Swallows heritage are Morgans from Kansas and Oklahoma ranchers and Morgans going back to Elmer Brown and Richard Sellman, the cornerstones of the Working Western Family. All the horses in the third line of her pedigree were foaled in 1926 through 1948; this brings that solid old blood up to today very quickly, along with the heritage of those times for Morgans of working ability, sense, and good temperament..
