Forever Loved and Never Forgotten

All of us have been blessed with the special love from an endearing pet or important person at some point in our lives.  Here on these pages, we want to lay tribute to those lost loves and special beings, as a way of thanking them for gracing our lives with their dedication, loyalty and compassion.  Each one has given valuable friendship, support, love and knowledge to help us on our way.  Please come share in the Tributes of those that have passed from this world, but never from the hearts of those that still love and appreciate their contributions.

SPECIAL TRIBUTES

Elizabeth French - The Invisible Neighbor

Betty had lived a pretty interesting life.  It was one paved with more hardships and sorrows than most, but it didn't seem to effect her openness to take the hand of friendship or welcome a good conversation about jewelry, horses, hunting, or God help us all - the TV Shopping Channel, which was her favorite thing to watch........Read This Story >>>>

*Editors Note: Of all the stories I have edited...this is one of my favorites.  A good read.

Primavera Valdez - Tribute To A Morgan Horse Treasure.

This is a love story—a love story of a horse and his people; for in this story, the horse and the people cannot be separated, so closely entwined were they. It is a story about a beautiful golden buckskin, nearly lost to the breed, but saved and loved and treasured so that not only he himself shall live on in the memory of so many, but also his genetic heritage shall live on.......Read This Story >>>>

Telura's Black Gold - A Tribute

We lost Telura late 1999 to a sudden deadly veterinary mistake so now we're left missing our best mare very much.  Telura was a working western Morgan masterpiece, the result of careful breeding of the Waer, Sellman, Hearst, Hill and Brunk programs......Read This Story >>>>

Reed's Fancy Lady 1986 - 2000

In July 2000, at age 14, Fancy Lady passed away suddenly and shockingly from acute, rapid onset enteritis, reminding us how truly fragile these horses are and htat we should never take for granted the blessing of thier presence in our lives......Read This Story >>>>

Ember Serene 1976 - 2000

It is difficult to know where to start, so perhaps the beginning would be best.  Dave and I were looking for our first Morgan and found a breeder not too far from us.  After visiting Ember Morgans, we had decided on a 10-year old mare and were finalizing the sale, when Bill George told us we really should have "that big filly in the back."  Dave went back to look at her better......Read This Story >>>>

Ember Bay Lady 1970 - 2000

Bay Lady, also known as "Bright Eyes", came into my life in the summer of 1980.  I had become interested in the Lippitt Miss Nekomia horses for their beauty and their personality.  Bay Lady, with two crosses to Miss Nekomia, was a true Nekomia horse and brought joy to my life for nearly 20 years.   She was my first Morgan......Read This Story >>>>

Geronimo 1986 - 2005

Geronimo!  He bore a famous warrior's name, and his beauty and mind to please were truly fit for a king.  But to me, he was 'Gerimo'...my big, affectionate, baby horse who refused to grow up into the harsh realities of adulthood.....Read This Story >>>>

Nova 1986 - 4/12/2005

Last night we had to put Nova, my dog, down.   She has been my Miracle Dog-living way beyond, what a dog of her size should be able to do (she weighed about 80 lbs.). She has survived 3 cancer surgeries.  She has graced my life and blessed me.....Read This Story >>>>
